The Myth of the "Right Time"
We spent our twenties and thirties waiting for permission.
We waited until we had enough experience, until the household was perfectly managed, or until the stars miraculously aligned. We convinced ourselves that there was a magical, stress-free "right time" looming in the future where the conditions would be flawless, and we could finally focus on our own goals.
Midlife is the ultimate wake-up call. It is the sudden, stark realization that the "right time" is a complete myth.
It is a delay tactic. It keeps us playing small. No one is going to knock on your door and hand you a permission slip to be bold, to change your mind, to start the project, or to completely reinvent your daily routine. If we keep waiting for a perfectly clear runway, we are going to spend the rest of our lives sitting on the tarmac.
Stop waiting for the dust to settle. The dust is never going to settle. The timing will never be perfectly convenient for everyone else.
We are the architects of our own next chapters. We have the life experience, the resilience, and the grit to handle whatever comes next. Stop asking for permission to take up space in your own life, and stop waiting for the perfect moment.
The only right time to start building is exactly right now.
Keep thriving.
